Tucked inside the Masked Artist Gallery, a new figure has appeared — a brooding, hand-painted piece from a fresh collab, this time with Spadez.
Like many of the gallery’s one-of-one creations, this figure carries a kind of quiet chaos: X’d-out eyes, a confetti-covered mask, and a beanie pulled low. It stands with a presence that’s hard to define — slightly strange, full of attitude, and entirely its own thing. it doesn’t explain itself. It just is.
This is just one of many collaborations that Masked Artist has released, each bringing a different twist to the signature masked form — from bold and bright to gritty and subdued. Every piece is a new personality wrapped in texture and mystery.
If you’re curious to see more of the space, Auditing New Zealand recently released a full video tour of the gallery — giving a raw, unfiltered look at what’s inside. You can watch it below.
You can find this collab — along with others — now on display and available for sale at Masked Artist Gallery, inside the Boxed Quarter, on the corner of Saint Asaph and Madras Street, right across from Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
